Palin Gives Great Speech Underscoring What America Needs

Sarah Palin spoke in Wisconsin stumping for Donald Trump. While the Anchorage Dispatch News repeated the mischaracterization of Palin by it’s liberal big sister the Washington Post, who called her speech “totally bizarre,” her speech actually delivered content that encourages the healing of America’s soul.

Okay, first the headline from the ADN: “Sarah Palin’s weekend speech in Wisconsin was totally bizarre.” You can go to the article here to see how it pulled out quotes and presented them like naked babies in a pink polka-dotted gift basket to make Mrs. Palin look silly.

This is typical liberal media, especially during this election season. And it’s become old. Yet, as you know, their headlines fill the already full plates of people, who swallow them without looking deeper. I looked deeper.

Here are a few of the meaningful and overlooked things she said:

“This awesome awakening… it’s leading now to a very healthy cleansing of the body politic. It’s to heal the body politic and it’s to save our nation.” Would the media consider this in their report? No. Instead, they guile us into thinking but small of the people who are really standing up big.

Of course, Sarah railed against the old guard in the GOP, “The establishment’s interests run counter to the interests of the people.” And she continued, “Common sense is an endangered species in Washington.”

Then she pondered and spoke slowly when she called to mind the veterans committing suicide every day. “I don’t hear a lot of other candidates or campaigns talking about our vets. But we are, because we care. Their sacrifice will not be in vain, so we’ll elect a commander in chief who shares that.” Words like this embrace a concern in America that the media, a la Anchorage Disparage News and Washington Compost, seem unable but to ignore.

In closing, she encouraged her audience, “Remember what it will take to save our nation. Remember what it’s going to take, it’s all of us working together… It’s going to take unity among patriots who love this country as much as we love our own families. So, yes, engage in vigorous, healthy competition. Be civil. Then vote.”

It’s unfortunate but expected that the liberal Washington Post is joined by the Anchorage Dispatch News to chisel out truncated phrases to demean and discount Sarah Palin, despite her message being one of concern and hope for America.
