Senator Mark Begich gave his farewell comments on the floor of the U.S. Senate today, overcome many times with emotion.
He mentioned, “We have accomplished a lot.”
He said he received and responded to over 360,000 letters from constituents in Alaska over the six years. He yielded the floor for the last time and was given a standing applause from his colleagues.

What he was really crying about was the loss of all the perks and privilege. He accomplished absolutely nothing except to take credit for stuff that was the work of others. Oh I forgot two things! He was the deciding vote on baggagecare/ Obamacare, the most disastrous piece of legislation ever. Also he campaigned 24/7 from the date he and Chuck Schummer screwed over Senator Stevens. I think he should move to Wasilla and run for mayor.
