Some vote analysis done by AK-Pipeline for the recent mayoral race discovered, after breaking it down, a huge cost-overrun by Dan Coffey. His good business sense apparently does not translate over into good political sense. Or is it vice versa?
Dan Coffey spent longer campaigning for Anchorage mayor than anyone, amassing more campaign contributions than all his opponents combined.
With the cash Coffey raised and spent and the results not going in his favor, the former Anchorage Assembly chair spent more than five times as much per vote as the two who are bound for a May 5 runoff election.
