The number of coffee houses in Anchorage per capita rank it second in the nation for java love right behind Seattle. And though coffee may not get us close to solving our state government’s economic problems, at least we can stay hyper about life as we discuss the issue.
The State Labor Department reports the coffee industry creates about 1,900 jobs in the state, a stable industry for the Alaska economy.
