Alaska earnings dropped year-over-year, with Conoco reporting a $2 million loss compared to a $145 million gain during the same period in 2015. The company is cutting back on Alaska capital expenditures and investments. In the first three months of this year, Conoco spent $320 million compared to $402 million in the same period of 2015.
