Alex Gimarc – I have adopted Limbaugh’s characterization of Facebook as FAKEBOOK.
The renaming came as a result of a series of stores out about FB gaming their newsfeed stream, with their “curators” suppressing popularity of conservative news stories while pumping up the popularity of leftist stories. In this way Zuckerberg’s leftist employees are furthering the worldview that he carries: left = good; right = bad.
Some, like CBS Sports’ mouth Colin Cowherd, another lefty who has forgotten that his real job is to report and comment on sports, thinks manipulation of live news feeds is perfectly acceptable and laughs at the very well earned and deserved outrage. Do not fool yourselves into believing that other major technology corporations like, say Google are not also using diddling their search algorithms so as to return things they politically agree with and suppress things that they don’t agree with.
In the worldview of the leftist, everything, literally everything, is political. Zuckerberg and his Fakebook employees are simply confirming what the rest of us suspected for a long time.
Never forget that most underrated and powerful things that the state-run media does is spike stories and refuse to cover or report on. For the most part, this means that we hear about all the awful things that conservatives may or may not do on a daily basis but never ever hear the same sort of stories about the left.
One of the things that gave Matt Drudge his big opening 20 years ago was failure of the Washington Press corps to report on the very well known Clinton-Lewinsky tryst.
Zuckerberg is simply doing what leftists always have done and what they are expected to do in the days, weeks, months and years to come.
Google hasn’t actually been caught red handed like Fakebook, but given their political closeness with the Obama WH, I believe it is only a matter of time before the hammer drops on them too.
