The Governor could call them back for a special session and then the Legislature, in that special session, which could start as soon as Thursday, could make these long-term changes to the Permanent Fund which are more along the lines of what the Governor has been asking for. In fact, Meyer says he hopes the Governor will be receptive to this approach.
