The Alaska Department of Health and Human Services announced on Wednesday that it will temporarily suspend some Medicaid payments to providers due to state budget constraints. In a letter, state DHS Director Margaret Brodie said Alaska’s fiscal challenges require a suspension in some Medicaid claims while Medicaid funds are reallocated among accounts.
